Mount Eerie - Don’t Smoke

Of all the black metal influenced artists currently making pretty music that isn’t black metal, Phil Elverum may be the most sincere about it. Because instead of occasionally tweeting about it or biting an album title, dude actually lives out in the woods. He emerges occasionally to play well-attended shows at too-small venues, then returns to his cabin (?) and churns out beautiful record after beautiful record. This is from last year’s Black Wooden Ceiling Opening. I’ll listen to Wind’s Poem when i can actually find a physical copy.
